Well, Earth Day (April 22, 2008) will soon be upon us and never has it been more important to reflect on our good mother Earth as it is on this day. But how should you celebrate? One of these events is in New York City's Central Park for the Green Apple Festival, which is being touted as America’s largest Earth Day celebration. The festival takes place April 18-20 where you can enjoy several free live music concerts, including The Bacon Brothers and Ricky Skaggs; participate in family tree planting activities; browse through the arts and crafts fair featuring items made of recycled materials; and a plethora of other green friendly Earth Day activities.
